The Northeast EMS’s new emergency facility in Nipawin was fully operational in the spring of 2001. The company employs 5 paramedics, 11 EMT personnel and coordinates approximately 30 first responders.
Zenon Park has five fully trained first responders and 14 fire fighters. The Zenon Park Fire Department equipment includes a fire engine, emergency van and heart defibrillator.
The Kelsey Trail Health Region covers Nipawin, Cumberland House, Melfort, Tisdale and Hudson Bay and encompasses a population of about 45,000 people. Hospitals at Nipawin, Tisdale and Melfort are being designated as district hospitals, providing 24hour seven-day emergency and general medicine services.

CLINIC HOURS To book appointments with Louise, call: 769-8758 Nurse practitioner, Louise Kowal, sees patients on the 1st Monday afternoon of the month in the clinic located in the Zenon Park AFZP building. Louise also does home visits to the Manoir on the 3rd Monday afternoon of the month. This service is provided through a cooperative effort between the Village of Zenon Park and the Kelsey Trail Health District.
