ZENON PARK
MULTI-USE RECREATIONAL FACILITY
At the December 22, 2009 public meeting the multi-use recreational facility project was presented.
Highlights of the presentation included:
 The purpose of the project is the creation of an all-in-one recreational facility that will sustain the community’s needs into the future.
The goal is to decrease facility operating costs & increase facility programming options.
Aspects of the projects include:
50’x150’x20’ Addition
New 3-Sheet Artificial Ice Plant
Lobby Renovation 2nd Floor Viewing
2nd Floor Fire Exit
Upgrading Lobby Boiler
Ice Surface Plexiglass & Puck Board
Arena Auto Fan System
The Finance Committee is targeting raising $200,000 to secure in excess of $300,000 in government grants. The goal is to raise these funds by April 15, 2010. Individual contributions can be financed through the Diamond North Credit Union.
