Municipal Drinking Water
Annual Report: Section 44 of the Water Regulations requires that the permitee of a waterworks provide annual notification to customers on the quality of water supplied by the waterworks, in comparison to levels set out in the regulations, and on the permittee's operating permit. A copy of this notification is located at the Village Office. Feel free to stop in and have a look. Province's Paint Recycling Program
Saskatchewan citizens can take their old and unused paint to any SARCAN depot for recycling.
Acceptable products include: paint, stains, varnishes, and all paint aerosols Products NOT accepted include: paint thinners; brushes and other accessories; unlabelled or leaking paint cans. (For a complete list of both acceptable and unacceptable items, see www.productcare.org/skzoom.html.)
Each SARCAN depot will also maintain a supply of reusable paint which is available to the public without charge.
This program is paid for with ecofees administered at the point of sale:
- $1.00 for containers greater than 5 litres (up to 23)
- 40 cents per gallon (>1 to 5 litres)
- 25 cents per quart (251 mls to 1 litre)
- 10 cents for smaller containers (250 mls or less) and aerosols
